PATCH REGISTRY

Terms of Service

Last updated: July 19, 2026

By using Patch Registry (patchregistry.com), creating an account, or sending us a submission, you agree to these terms. They're short — please read them.

Accounts and usernames

Your username is public: it appears on the leaderboard and next to your activity across the site. Patch culture runs on humor and we welcome it — but a username may not be hateful, harassing, obscene, or targeted at any person or group; may not impersonate another person, unit, or official organization; and may not contain anyone's personal information.

We may rename, reclaim, or remove any username, and suspend or delete any account, at our sole discretion — with or without notice. If your name gets reset, pick a better one; if it happens twice, the account goes with it.

Patch submissions

When you send us a patch photo and its story, you confirm that:

You keep ownership of what you submit. You grant Patch Registry a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and adapt it (for example, cropping and color-correcting photos) as part of running and promoting the site. Credit is given the way you ask — name, callsign, or anonymous — and you can request removal or re-crediting at any time by emailing us.

Every submission is reviewed before it goes on The Wall. We may decline or remove any submission for any reason.

Acceptable use

Don't do these things:

The Wall's content

Patch histories are researched in good faith but come from human memory and community submissions — corrections are welcome and appreciated. The site is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. Patch Registry is a personal project and is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the U.S. Department of Defense or any military branch.

Changes

We may update these terms as the site grows. The date above reflects the latest version; continued use after a change means you accept it.
