Space Operations Command

Space Operations Command was the Space Force field command responsible for the space operations conducted by the service, standing up at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado on 21 October 2020 from the lineage of Fourteenth Air Force, which had been redesignated SpOC when the Space Force was established on 20 December 2019. Its emblem carries the large delta inherited from Air Force Space Command and the Space Force seal, while three smaller deltas riding rocket trails form arrows drawn from the U.S. Space Command seal — the command's core competencies of operations, intelligence, and cyber, and its deltas and garrisons as the arrows in U.S. Space Command's warfighting quiver. The star field is Orion the Hunter, chosen to signify that SpOC would always be the predator and never the prey. This spice-brown subdued version was the OCP field uniform variant; on 3 November 2025 the command was reorganized and redesignated United States Space Force Combat Forces Command, retiring the SpOC name after five years.
